Indian Market: Sensex drops 236 pts
Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday tumbled down 236 pts to settle at 54,052.61 on heavy selling in IT, Utilities, Power and Technology stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too slipped 89.55 pts to close at 16,125.15.
The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 54,524.37 and 53,886.28 pts respectively.
The Nifty recorded the day's high and low at 16,262.80 and 16,078.60 respectively.
