ICICI Bank organised coin exchange mela in Goa

Panjim, Jan 27 (IBNS): ICICI Bank, India's largest private sector bank by consolidated assets, on Friday organised a coin exchange mela in Goa, last week.

The mela was organised at Kadamba bus stand, which was open for all bus owners and general public.

Jaikish, General Manager & Officer-in-Charge, Reserve Bank of India, inaugurated the event. 

Meenakshi Gad, DGM RBI, Panaji, Carey Mascarenhas, Manager, RBI, Panaji and Anil Vengurlekar, Assistant Traffic Superintendent, KTC also graced the occasion.

The bank periodically organises coin exchange melas to offer a free facility of exchanging acceptable soiled and mutilated currency notes with fresh currency and coins to the general public.

The coin mela witnessed over 200 people exchanging coins worth Rs. 8.5 lakh in the denomination of Rs.10, Rs.5, Rs.2 and Re.1.

ICICI Bank has 4,468 branches and 14,295 ATMs spread across the country as on September 30, 2016. It has over 34 branches and more than 68 ATMs in Goa.
