Kolkata, Mar 14 (IBNS): Gujrat based furniture manufacturer HOF launched its first showroom in Kolkata's Camac Street area on Friday.

The chairman of HOF Pravin Patel and the director of HOF's distribution partner Steelco Furniture Rishi Bajaj were present as the showroom was inaugurated in the east Indian city.

Pravin Patel said that Eastern India was a new and significant territory for their company and they were expecting 20 percent turnover from the east.

"With the launch of the Kolkata flagship store, HOF is now having 17 flagship stores across India and Nepal. We also have plan to establish an assembly unit in West Bengal. We will also be catering to the Bangladesh market through Kolkata centre," he said.

Patel said that they had plans to capture other eastern markets like Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Raipur and Ranchi by setting up flagship stores over there.

"We will also launch a furniture store at Delhi, NCR. Within next couple of months, we are also planning to launch stores at Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and UAE to cater to the African and Middle Eastern markets respectively," he added.

The HOF Zone store offers quality furniture in the price range from Rs. 3000 to Rs. 92,500.

Seating systems, premium office sofas and desks to space effective office units among other items will be available at HOF’s flagship store in Kolkata.
