GP Tronics inaugurates new solar power plant

Kolkata, Jan 16 (IBNS): Solar power manufacturer and the channel partner of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), GP Tronics on Friday inaugurated their new semi-automatic solar inverter manufacturing plant in Kolkata.

West Bengal's Consumer Affairs Minister Sadhan Pande and chairman of West Bengal Pollution Control Board Kalyan Rudra were present at the inaugural programme.

The event also marked the launch of Online Solar UPS for the first time in India.

GP Tronics officials said that the 82 crores project had received 30% subsidy on the total investment from the central government.

This solar products manufacturing company claimed that they had used an inverter air conditioner in this plant for environmental cleanliness.
