Delegation from The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry visits Dhaka's Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Kolkata, Oct 16 (IBNS) Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI) in celebration of its 110th anniversary had extended an invitation to The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

The celebration will be held on Friday and Saturday.

The Chamber delegation will be led by The Chamber President Alok Roy along with the Director General of The Chamber P Roy and senior Chamber members like Deb A Mukherjee, Arun Kr Mukherjee and Debasish Ghosh.

The keynote speaker for the occasion at MCCI Dhaka is former Indian President and scientist Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam.

Other distinguished guests who would be present on the occasion include Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, MP, Minister for Finance, Bangladesh, Amir Hossain Amu, MP, Minister for Industries and Tofail Ahmed, MP Minister for Commerce.

MCCI will also felicitate The Bengal Chamber by presenting a Centenary Crest.

P Roy, Director General of The Bengal Chamber, said, “We are honoured at having been invited by the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka, on this occasion, and look forward to attending their anniversary celebrations. As neighbouring countries, we share a deep and meaningful relationship and hope to constantly build upon already existing ties.”
