New Delhi/IBNS: Kyndal, a leading alco-bev maker and distributor in the premium segment, eyes to bring Cutty Sark, a blended Scottish scotch whisky, to the local markets of Delhi, Gurgaon and other parts of Haryana.

Cutty Sark will now be available in an imported one-litre bottle at a price of Rs 2,000 per litre in Delhi.

The premium malt scotch whiskey brand Cutty Sark is named after the British clipper ship, the fastest ship of its day, and was launched by Berry Bros. & Rudd in 1923.

Cutty Sark is recognised for its light coloured delicate flavour and aroma, making it ideal for blending into a variety of drinks.

Fresh flavours of citrus fruits, malt, floral with vanilla and cinnamon emerge as taste notes, while the ageing in carefully selected American oak casks creates the wonderfully smooth and rich caramel, vanilla flavours.

Brand Director of Kyndal Pushpanjali Banerji said, “Pandemic and lockdowns have changed the way we work and socialise. There is an increasing trend we are seeing among consumers that are looking for convenience. People are increasingly drinking and stocking their favourite whiskies at home. Keeping the trend of home consumption in mind, we have introduced The Cutty Sark one litre Imported size.”

Kyndal is also known for supplying some of the top single malts of Scotland such as Macallan, Highland Park, and Glenrothes.
