Cost optimisation helps Blue Dart Express post revenue growth

Mumbai, Feb 10 (IBNS) Blue Dart Express Limited, which reported its December quarter results on Wednesday, said effective cost optimisation helped revenue growth.

Part of the DP DHL Group, Blue Dart Express is a leading express air and integrated transportation, distribution and logistics company.

The company posted Rs 50.05 crores profit after tax for the reported quarter.

Net sales/income from operations for the December quarter was Rs 652.31 crores.

Anil Khanna, Managing Director, said while the reported quarter was a challenging one and the modest growth in revenues was largely due to effective cost optimisation. 

He also said, “The economy has had a fair share of challenges this quarter which has decelerated growth for the express industry."
