Ather Energy Limited, India’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, recently announced the launch of the 2025 Ather 450X in Sri Lanka.

This marks a milestone in Ather’s international growth strategy, aimed at strengthening its presence in international markets.

Ather entered Sri Lanka in December 2024 with its flagship scooter, the Ather 450X, making it the brand’s second international market after Nepal.

Since then, the company has rapidly expanded its footprint in the country, opening 19 Experience Centres, operated by its national distributor, Evolution Auto Pvt. Ltd. With a focus on establishing the ecosystem around EVs, Ather has also installed charging infrastructure in the country, to support convenient and reliable EV ownership.

Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy said, “We are thrilled to launch the 2025 Ather 450X in Sri Lanka. They have always been a strong scooter market, and the positive response to the Ather 450X since its launch last year has been amazing."

Phokela said: "Enthused by this response, we have fast-tracked our distribution and are already at 19 stores across the country, to make our scooters more accessible. We believe the 2025 Ather 450X is a great fit for the region, given its focus on performance, reliability, and quality, and how well it aligns with the terrain and riding conditions in Sri Lanka.”
