Akash and Anant Ambani top India’s wealth creators list with ₹3.59 lakh cr each; Isha Ambani leads among women
Mumbai: Akash Ambani, chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm, and Anant Ambani, executive director of Reliance Industries Ltd, have jointly topped the 360 ONE Wealth Creators list, each with a net worth of ₹3.59 lakh crore.
The rankings, compiled by 360 ONE Wealth in collaboration with CRISIL, spotlight India’s wealthiest individuals across business, investment, and professional spheres.
Over 2,000 Indians with ₹500 crore-plus wealth
The comprehensive list features 2,013 individuals, each with a minimum net worth of ₹500 crore. These include entrepreneurs, heirs, investors and professionals. Combined, their wealth stands at nearly ₹100 lakh crore, according to the report.
According to the study, 161 individuals have net worth exceeding ₹10,000 crore and 169 individuals fall in the ₹5,000–₹10,000 crore bracket.
Reliance, Tata, Adani groups dominate promoter wealth
Family members and promoters from the Tata Group, Reliance Industries and Adani Group collectively account for 24% of the total promoter wealth, estimated at ₹36 lakh crore.
Additionally, India’s top 50 business houses represent 59% of the total wealth mapped in the 360 ONE Wealth Creators list, with Reliance Industries and Adani Enterprises alone making up 12% of it.
Isha Ambani tops among women wealth creators
Among women, Isha Ambani has been recognised as the richest business owner.
The report also identifies 72 women leaders who have either founded their businesses or played a significant role in value creation.
