USA: Murder-suicide kills two at Texas college

Irving, May 4 (IBNS): At least two people have died following a suspected murder-suicide at a Texas college, reports said.

The incident took place on Wednesday morning at around 11:32 am at the Central campus of North Lake College, Irving Police Department tweeted.

The deceased have been identified as Janeera Nickol Gonzalez and Adrian Victor Torres, aged 20 and 21 respectively.

Police further said that Adrian shot Janeera and later killed himself.

No other casualty has been reported from the scene of the crime.

"We have what appears to be one victim deceased & the shooter has committed suicide," the IPD tweet read.

"There appears to be no continuing threat but police will continue to search to make the campus safe," the department said in an ensuing tweet.
