Two earthquakes hit Italy

Rome, Oct 27 (IBNS): Two earthquakes hit central Italy on Wednesday, triggering panic in the nation.

While one quake measured 6.1 on the Richter Scale, the other measured 5.4.

The epicentre of the quake was located at West of Visso in Macerata province, as per the USGS website.

The epicentre was located at latitude 42.934 degrees north and longitude  13.043 degrees east.
Several buildings were reportedly damaged.

No casualty has been reported so far.

Panicked people were seen rushing out of their homes.

"Several people were hurt, but there were no immediate reports of deaths," BBC reported.
