Trump warns Chicago; promises to build the wall

| | Jan 25, 2017, at 04:13 pm
Washington, Jan 25 (IBNS): In just his fourth day at the Oval Office, US President Donald Trump has issued a warning against Chicago, asking the state to mend its ways and curb violence.

"If Chicago doesn't fix the horrible 'carnage' going on, 228 shootings in 2017 with 42 killings (up 24% from 2016), I will send in the Feds!" his tweet read.

He also took on US news network CNN, slamming it as fake.

"Congratulations to @FoxNews for being number one in inauguration ratings. They were many times higher than FAKE NEWS @CNN - public is smart!" he said.

Among his other big announcement, the US President reiterated his stance on building the wall on the US-Mexico border.

"Big day planned on NATIONAL SECURITY tomorrow. Among many other things, we will build the wall!" he said.
