Taliban attack leave 20 ANA soldiers killed

Kabul, Feb 24 (IBNS): Taliban attacked military base in Afghanistan, killing at least 20 Afghan National Army soldiers on Saturday, media reports said.

According to media reports, the attack started a around 2:00 am in Shakh-i-Bala Kansk area of Bala Block district.

A Farah provincial council official Dadullah Qani  told Tolo News  the Taliban also captured two soldiers and stole a large amount of weapons. 

Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The deputy governor Mohmmad Younos Rasouly has confirmed the attack to Tolo News.

Military officials are at the site of the incident.
