Seoul, Jun 22 (IBNS): The South Korean and US military jointly accused North Korea of firing two missiles from its eastern coasts on Wednesday morning, reports said.
The missiles were said to be Musudan intermediate-range missiles, CNN quoted US military spokesperson Commander Dave Benham as saying.

CNN quoted South Korea's Unification Ministry spokesman Jeong Joon Hee as saying, "According to the U.N. Security Council resolution, any launches that involve ballistic missile technology are a violation of the treaty and we think this is clearly a provocation towards us."

The missile launch has also triggered a panic in Japan, where a meeting was called by the country's defence minister to protect Japan.
