Six Royal Saudi Air Force F-15s welcomed US President Donald Trump's Air Force One with a ceremonial escort after he entered the country's airspace and headed towards Riyadh on Tuesday.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino shared the video of the warplanes escorting the President's plane on his X handle.

"Good morning from Air Force One, Saudi Arabia! Thank you for the escort, and having President Trump’s back—We all appreciate it. See you on the ground shortly, THANK YOU!!" he wrote on X.

After completing his Qatar visit, Trump reached Qatar on Wednesday.

He received a similar ceremonial escort in the Middle-East nation.

Dan Scavino wrote on X: "Happening Now—President Trump is looking out the window on Air Force One as we enter Qatar air space with a fighter jet escort. Landing shortly at Hamad International Airport in Qatar."

US secures $600 billion in Saudi investment

The White House on Wednesday said Saudi Arabia will invest $600 billion in the US economy.

The US reached an investment during US President Donald Trump's current visit to the country.

Sharing a factsheet, the White House wrote: "Today in Saudi Arabia, President Donald J. Trump announced Saudi Arabia’s $600-billion commitment to invest in the United States, building economic ties that will endure for generations to come."

"The first deals under the announcement strengthen our energy security, defense industry, technology leadership, and access to global infrastructure and critical minerals," the statement said.

Defence Partnership

The White House said the two nations have also signed a defence sales agreement worth nearly  $142 billion.

The agreement will provide Saudi Arabia with warfighting equipment and services from over a dozen U.S. defence firms.

"The package also includes extensive training and support to build the capacity of the Saudi armed forces, including enhancement of Saudi service academies and military medical services," the White House said.

Before resuming the second leg of his Middle East visit, Trump met with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh.

Trump urged Sharaa to normalise relations with Israel as he said he hopes Syria will play a pivotal role in trade between the Middle East and the West, BBC reported.
