Republican Healthcare far better than Ocare, says US President Donald Trump

Washington, May 6 (IBNS): Slamming the American media yet again for 'making his victory look as bad as possible', US President Donald Trump said that the Republican Healthcare plan is far better than the recently repealed Obamacare.

The US President took to Twitter to vent anger.

"Wow,the Fake News media did everything in its power to make the Republican Healthcare victory look as bad as possible.Far better than Ocare!," his tweet read.

In an ensuing tweet, Trump said, "Why is it that the Fake News rarely reports Ocare is on its last legs and that insurance companies are fleeing for their lives? It's dead!"

Earlier on Thursday, US President Donald Trump tested his first legislative victory as his government declared former president Barack Obama's Obamacare dead after the Republican healthcare bill was passed by the US lower chamber, reports said.

Trump won the motion 217-213, as angry protesters raised 'shame on you' slogans.

In his official address following his win, the US President congratulated his team and said, "They are not doing it for the party, they are doing it for the county, because we suffered with Obamacare."

"I went through two years of campaigning and I'm telling you no matter where I went, people were suffering so badly with the ravages of Obamacare," the US President added.

"As far as I am concerned your premiums are going to come down. We are going to get this pass through the Senate, I feel so confident."

"This is a great plan and I actually thing it will get better and this is and make no mistake, this is a repeal and a replace of Obamacare, make no mistake about it," he said.

Following the votes, former Secretary of the State, Hillary Clinton tweeted, "A shameful failure of policy & morality by GOP today. Fight back on behalf of the millions of families that will be hurt by their actions."
