Pakistan is China's irreplaceable all weather friend: China

Beijing, Jan 26 (IBNS) At a time when US President Barack Obama is visiting India, China on Monday called Pakistan as its 'irreplaceable' all weather friend.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and other leaders of the country  met visiting Pakistan's Army Chief General Raheel Sharif.

Quoting Yi as saying to Sharif, Pakistan army spokesman Asim Bajwa tweeted: "#Chinese FM to #COAS in mtng:#Pak is China's irreplaceable all weather friend,both countries part of community of shared destiny."

"Mr Meng Member Politburo to #COAS: On #Pak, #China has consistent policy beyond individuals.Pak concern is China's concern," Bajwa tweeted quoting senior leader Meng Jianzhu.

Sharif has thanked the leaders and quoting him Bajwa tweeted: "World must understand evolving Envmt.Greater intl focus,Coord needed 2 logically concl fight vs terrorism."


China made the remarks at a time when US President Barack Obama is visiting India. He became the first American President to attend India's Republic Day parade.
