Jerusalem, July 14 (IBNS): Two policemen were killed and one was injured during a shootout in Jerusalem on Friday, media reports said.

"They were shot by three Israeli Arabs close to the compound known to Jews as the Temple Mount and to Muslims as Haram al-Sharif (Noble Sanctuary)," BBC reported.

Police shot the attackers dead.

The attackers were reportedly aged between 19 and 29, media reports said.

They reportedly came from northern Israeli city of Umm al-Fahm.
