Sidhu is facing 16 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and 13 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily injury.

He is expected to appear before the court in the coming week.

Sixteen people including Humboldt Broncos head coach, Darcy Haugan, were killed as a bus carrying the junior hockey team crashed with a truck in Saskatchewan highway on Apr 6.
