Grenade blast close to Philippines church, 13 hurt

Midsayap, Dec 25 (IBNS): At least 13 people were injured in a grenade blast close to a Catholic church in Midsayap town of Philippines on Saturday, media reports said.

According to media reports, two people, who were riding motorcycle, blast the grenade.

Superintendent Romeo Galgo, Jr., spokesman of the Regional Police Office-12 based in General Santos City, was quoted as saying by Philippine Star one of the victims was a police officer named SPO4 Johnny Caballero of the Midsayap municipal police.

No one has been arrested so far.
