Further militant attacks in Tunisia possible: Britain warns

London, June 28 (IBNS): Britain has said that more militant attacks might take place in Tunisia in the upcoming days.

In a travel advice issued by the British Foreign Office, the country said: "Further terrorist attacks in Tunisia, including in tourist resorts, are possible, including by individuals who are unknown to the authorities and whose actions are inspired by terrorist groups via social media."

A gunman disguised as a tourist opened fire at a Tunisian hotel on Friday, killing 39 people of different nationalities in horrific spree of mass murder for which Islamic State claimed the responsibility.

Those killed include people from the UK, Germany and Belgium.

British authorities confirmed that 15 Britons were killed in the attack.
