Toronto, Oct 7 (IBNS): The Oakville Diwali Gala, which was organised in the Halton region of Ontario, has successfully met the noble cause of securing state of the art equipment to assist the Oakville Hospital Foundation (OHF).

Members of the Oakville Hospital foundation were all present to celebrate the festival of lights.

The energy and the excitement of the event went to a next level by Manj Musik, lead vocalist and amp; music composer from the group RDB.

The dance and song combination of Bhangra and Punjabi singing did bring up the spirits for the night.

Musik is known for his Blockbuster Bollywood film soundtracks in Heropanti, Dr. Cabbie, Gabbar is Back, Singh Is Bling, Baaghi, Beiimaan Love, is the former lead vocalist and music composer for the bhangra music group RDB.

Also lightning up the event were stalls selling jewellery, Henna and glitter booths and the special photo booth and stall where one could capture the memories of the evening.

Sona Khanna, event chair, said: "The final funds raised at the Diwali Gala $281,000, which is 93.4% from that of the previous fundraiser.”

The Oakville Hospital Foundation Gala is held in support of The Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, whose care and medical services are of great benefit to the Oakville community and beyond.

Already 1.6 million square feet in size, the hospital has recently introduced advanced technologies that are expected to advance patient treatment and care on a wider scale.

The contributions from the past galas have provided support for these advancements.
