Paris, Jan 29 (IBNS) A 28-year-old man carrying two guns at an entrance to a Disneyland Paris hotel was arrested on Friday, according to reports.

The BBC quoted a police official as saying that he was carrying a copy of Koran and ammunition.

His girlfriend was also detained by the French police.

BBC quoted spokesman Francoise Banon as saying, "During a routine security screening checkpoint at one of our hotels, weapons were discovered in a guest's luggage through our X-ray machine."

"The police were immediately notified and the individual was arrested. We continue to work closely with the authorities and the safety and security of our guests and cast members is our utmost priority."

France still remains in a 'State of Emergency' after terrorists attacked the capital in November last year killing130 people, including 89 at the Bataclan theatre.
