Daycare supervisor accused of sexual assault

Toronto, Sept 30, (IBNS): A daycare supervisor in Toronto was accused of sexually assaulting a young boy, police said.

Police stated that the accused, Gianni (John) Pate, 36, of Toronto, worked at Not Your Average daycare, at 225 Livingston Rd., near Kingston and Galloway roads, from January 2009 to August 2010.

Pate was charged with sexually assaulting and sexual interference of a boy, who was five or six years old at the time.

Pate is expected to appear in court on Friday.
