| | Oct 20, 2016, at 02:58 am
Toronto, Oct 19 (IBNS): Following a recent creepy clown stories, where killers dressed in clown outfits have been attacking schools and students, the Canadian Tire has decided to pull down its Halloween clown decorations from all of its stores in Canada.

A spokesperson of the company told, the decorations were removed from all the stores Canada-wide as well as online last week just to be “sensitive to recent pranks,”

There were two clown products- an “animated rotating clown” and a 60-cm hanging clown decoration that were sold by the store. Following the outbreak of the clown related stories, the webpages for both the decorations have also been removed too.

Although the company spokesperson mentioned there were no official complaints made to the store to bring forward such a decision, yet, one customer did highlight the issue in a past in the Company’s Facebook page.

“Canadian Tire ... not sure what you’re thinking ???? With the spate of clown scares lately, I was surprised to be greeted by this creepy clown Halloween costume,” the post said.

However, answers to the post were mixed with some approving with a clown ban, while others expalined that there, “have been no ‘clown attacks,’ only clown sightings.”

Recently, an international hysteria has been created by dozens of creepy clown sightings all over North America and the U.K.
