Bullet-riddled bodies of 3 Afghan nationals found in Pakistan’s Turbat river
The bullet-riddled bodies of three Afghan nationals were recovered from the Garok River in Pakistan’s Turbat area, according to local media reports.
Police told Dawn News that another Afghan national was found injured at the site.
Officials at Jussak police station said local residents spotted the bodies in the river and alerted the local administration about the remains.
Police personnel subsequently reached the spot and recovered the three bodies along with the injured man.
The injured man was identified as Abdul Aziz, while the deceased were identified as Salim Akbar, Sher Agha Khan and Najeeb-Uddin, according to Dawn News.
The injured man and the bodies were taken to a hospital in Turbat.
Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths and the shooting.
