Balloon man of Canada pleads guilty for dangerous flying

Daniel Boria 27, flew for 20 minutes aloft on July 15, 2015 just after 7 p.m.
The court ordered him to pay $5000 as a fine in addition to make a donation to food bank charity, and to surrender his helmet cam video of the stunt.
Although he was denied permission to fly by Transport Canada he had sent a warning to them and took off from a golf course alongwith an oxygen tank, radio and a parachute.
He hung a display sign to promote his cleaning company, in his flying chair attached to 110 balloons costing $13,000.
He had been gliding so high almost two kms. above ground that two aeroplanes passed underneath and his balloons kept popping violently in the thinner atmosphere, reported the paper.
A Westjet had sent a UFO sighting signal.
Air Traffic Control at Calgary Airport lost sight when he rose around 4,000 feet.
The control tower was compelled to advise incoming Westjet pilot about dangerous balloon cluster, crown prosecutor Matt Dalidowicz informed the provincial court judge Bruce Fraser.
High wind forced him to parachute on an industrial field where he was arrested by the police.
