At least 14 killed in Jordan seize

Amman, Dec 19 (IBNS): At least 14 people, including four terrorists were killed in an operation in the southern city of Karak, local Jordan Times reported.

Among the 10 people killed apart from terrorists were two civilians and a Canadian tourist.

Four police officers and three paramilitary police officials were also killed, while 22 others, including policemen and civilians were injured.

The event took place on Sunday.

Government spokesperson Mohammad Momani was quoted by the daily as saying that Jordan will remain resilient towards such attacks.

Momani also expressed his condolences to the Canadian government for the loss of the tourist's life.
