Afghanistan suicide attack kills 50

Kabul, Nov 23 (IBNS): At least 50 people were killed in a suicide attack during a volleyball match in Afghanistan's Paktika province on Sunday, media reports said.

 A suicide bomber blew himself up during the match which left 60 people injured, reports said.

Mukhlis Afghan, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the suicide attack took place when a volleyball match was underway at around 4: 30 pm between Yusufkhelo and Yahyakhelo districts. 

Deputy Governor Attaullah Fazli was quoted as saying by the news agency that a bicycle rider blew himself up when the play ground was packed of viewers and players.

Country's president Ashraf Ghani has condemned the incident.
