7 magnitude earthquake hits China
Beijing, Aug 8 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 7 on the Richter Scale hit Jiuzhaigou County in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Tuesday, media reports said.
The earthquake hit the area at 9:19 p.m. Tuesday (Beijing Time), Xinhua reported quoting the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 33.2 degrees north latitude and 103.82 degrees east longitude, the news agency reported.
No casualty has been reported so far.
