Emirates makes international travel easier with new EMI payment option for Indians

Emirates has introduced a new flexible payment solution for customers in India, allowing travellers to book flights across its global network and pay through affordable monthly instalments.

Under the new facility, passengers can book tickets to nearly 140 destinations served by the airline and opt to pay via Equated Monthly Instalments (EMIs) instead of making the full payment upfront on emirates.com.

The payment option enables customers to split the ticket cost into flexible instalments ranging from three to 36 months, making international travel more accessible and budget-friendly.

To avail of the facility, customers can simply use eligible credit cards issued by participating banks, including Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, HDFC Bank, HSBC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, RBL Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, State Bank of India, and Yes Bank.

"We are delighted to offer flexible payment solutions to our valued customers in India, enabling more travellers to explore the world by providing convenient payment options," said Mohammad Sarhan, Emirates' Vice President for India and Nepal.

"Flexible payment solutions will allow our customers in India to choose a payment plan that best suits their needs through a wide range of participating banking partners. This solution is a game-changer, enabling customers to book long-awaited holidays or upgrade their travel experience while spreading the cost through easy monthly instalments that fit their budget," he added.

The airline said the EMI facility is currently available to customers of 12 participating banks across India.

More details about the EMI payment option are available on the Emirates website.
