Our batting did not click: Dhoni

Manchester, Aug 9 (IBNS): After suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of England, Indian captain MS Dhoni on Saturday attacked the batsmen and said he felt that the side's batting department had not 'clicked' so far in the series.

Dhoni said: "I think even in the first innings we weren't up to the mark in the batting department. I feel so far in the series our batting had not really clicked. We need to get better."

He said the fifth and the lower order have scored runs but the top order have failed to perform in the ongoing series.

India suffered a massive defeat by an innings and 54 runs defeat at the hands of England in the fourth Test of the series here on Saturday.

England's all-round show crushed India to take 2-1 lead in the series.
