FIFA announce nominees for Golden Ball

Sao Paulo, July 12 (IBNS): FIFA has announced the names of 10 players who are in the run for the adidas Golden Ball.

The Golden Ball awarded to the tournament's most outstanding performer. 

Uruguay's Diego Forlan had won the award in 2010.

The names of the players are given below:

Angel Di Maria (Argentina)
Mats Hummels (Germany)
Toni Kroos (Germany)
Philipp Lahm (Germany) 
Javier Mascherano (Argentina)
Lionel Messi (Argentina)
Thomas Muller (Germany)
Neymar (Brazil)
Arjen Robben (Netherlands)
James Rodriguez (Colombia)

Costa Rica’s Keylor Navas,  Manuel Neuer  of Germany and Argentina's  Sergio Romero will contest for winning the Golden Glove.
