Exhibition match:Aaron Finch guides Sachin's MCC to victory
Chasing Rest of the World XI's 293 for seven, MCC scored 196 for three with 25 balls to spare.
A game which was no less than a legend's party, saw some of the big names of world cricket show their skills on the ground.
Finch, however, snatched all attentions as he hammered 145-ball 181 runs. The Australian hit 23 boundaries and six sixes in his knock where he completely dominated over the opponent bowlers.
Finch and MCC captain Sachin Tendulkar gave the side a good start as the duo added 107 runs in the first wicket partnership.
Indian batting icon Sachin Tendulkar, who retired from cricket few month back, did not look out of touch as he displayed a glimpse of his mastery with his willow.
He hammered seven boundaries in his 44 runs knock which was thoroughly enjoyed by his fans.
West Indian legend Brian Lara contributed 23 runs with his bat while another Indian great Rahul Dravid returned to the pavilion without scoring a run.
Shivnarine Chanderpaul (37*) and Finch added 122 runs in the first wicket partnership to reach the target easily at the end.
Finch kept hitting the ball and went past 150 runs quite quickly.
Paul Collingwood took two wickets for Rest of the World XI.
Earlier, Rest of the World XI posted 293 for seven on the scoreboard, giving Tendulkar's side a challenge in the 50-over encounter.
Indian batting star Yuvraj Singh shined with his willow as he scored 132 runs off 134 balls which helped the Rest of the World XI post 293 on the scorecard.
Tendulkar, who bowled four overs and gave away 33 runs in the match, picked up Singh's wicket.
Opening batsmen- Virender Sehwag (22) and Adam Gilchrist (29)- added 54 runs in the first wicket partnership.
The side witnessed a collapse as they were reduced to 68 for five within 12th over.
Singh and former England captain Collingwood (40) added 131 runs in the sixth wicket partnership to help the side recover from the tough situation in the rain-hit match.
Peter Siddle (33) made some important contribution at the end.
Pakistani spinner Saeed Ajmal picked up four wickets for MCC.
Shane Warne, who was leading the Rest of the World XI, was injured after being struck by an unintentional beamer from ex-Australia team mate Brett Lee.
The match was played to mark the 200th anniversary of the Lord's Cricket Ground.
