Salman's 'Kick' joins 200 cr club

Mumbai, Aug 5 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Salman Khan starrer 'Kick' has now entered the 200 crore club and has become his highest grosser film in India.

The film crossed the much hyped 200 crore mark on the 11th day of its release.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#Kick [Week 2] Fri 9.22 cr, Sat 10.62 cr, Sun 14.18 cr, Mon 5.08 cr. Total: ₹ 203.19 cr nett. Salman's HIGHEST GROSSER in India."

Adarsh said 'Kick' has crossed Aamir Khan's '3 Idiots' record in the domestic market.

"#Kick crosses #3Idiots in domestic market. More records to shatter in days to come...," he posted.

‘Kick’ marks the directorial debut of well-known producer Sajid Nadiadwala and also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Produced and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala and presented by UTV Motion Pictures and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., 'Kick' released on July 25.
