Salaami actor Samyukta Singh’s restaurant Tsubaki is a hit with food lovers: Feels great when people enjoy our food… we’ll be adding new dishes to our menu

Mumbai: Samyukta Singh decided to take her love for food a step further with the inaugural of her Mumbai based restaurant, Tsubaki, early this year. It’s a multi-cuisine food joint. The Salaami actor shares that she had always had an entrepreneur in her, so with this venture that has also got wind behind her wings. She talks about it.

“We opened our doors in February this year. Recently, we have launched the lounge/bar. With this I have started a new chapter in my life and I am super excited about it,” she says.

Tsubaki serves Japanese cuisine too. It is very much loved by the guests, adds the actor. “We get celebrities coming from time to time. Everyone enjoys our food. So far, we have got only positive reviews. We are thrilled with the response we have been getting from the guests. People have been loving our food and that is a great feeling. We are also adding many new dishes to our menu which should start in about a week or two,” she reveals.

Samyukta shares that the menu at Tsubaki, caters to all palates. “We have options for Jain and vegans too. Our ingredients are all of high quality and we also grow our own hydroponic greens,” she says.

Talking about her partners in the business, she adds, “It is the dream project of five partners, and we hope to open branches of Tsubaki all over India. In fact two of our partners are Japanese which adds a lot of authenticity to our food. They also happen to be family friends of my mom and late dad.”
