Miditech launches new series on aviation
Mumbai, Aug 22 (IBNS): Production house Miditech is all set to launch its new finite fiction series 'Airline- Har Udaan Ek Tufaan' starting August 24.
The show marks the TV debut of the Bollywood actress Tulip Joshi along with VJ turned actor Yudhishter.
Shot in Delhi, the 26 episode finite series will be telecasted on Star Plus every Sunday at 9PM and will focus on women in the Airline industry.
Written by the well-known writer Advaita Kala, Airline is the first television drama series of this scale being produced entirely in Delhi.
The show features Tulip Joshi as Ananya Rawat and will portray her journey from the world of gender discrimination to the modern and glamorous aviation industry.
Each episode will pose a fresh challenge and promises to take viewers into the protagonist’s new world of adventure, action, intrigue and drama, making it a fast paced thriller.
Miditech has put its best to retain the authenticity of the situations and incidents covered in the show by creating a real time Boeing 737 for the shooting and also by roping in real pilots to tutor the actors in the existing terminals.
On this announcement, Nikhil Alva, Co-Founder & CEO Miditech said, "Airlines is an extremely challenging drama series that will set new Indian benchmarks for storytelling, character development, special effects, set building and production values. Its scale is breathtaking. It will mark the bravery and the daring attitude of a woman pilot. We have also collaborated with Pixion to give the viewer’s unmatched graphics and visual effects.”
In align with our strategy of making Delhi a production hub for entertainment television; we are launching 2 new shows which will be shot entirely in Delhi. We believe this is important for us in our endeavour to create well differentiated content," added Nikhil.
Going beyond from just a show based on aviation, Airline is every woman’s quest to establish their identity in a male dominated industry. The show challenges the stereotypes by portraying the journey of a brave protagonist, Ananya Rawat, who becomes her Airline first female pilot.
