Anupama Solanki: Every actor requires a break

Mumbai: Actress Anupama Solanki, who is currently seen in Maddam Sir, enjoyed a rather adventurous break at amusement and water park Imagicaa recently. On the outskirts of Mumbai, the park was a delight to visit, says Anupama.

“This is the first time I went to Imagicaa and I had no idea about this place. I had never seen these types of adventurous rides so that’s the reason I choose this place. Once, I reached there, I received a great welcome from Imagica’s side, volunteers were dancing and people were full of positive spirit there. When I entered Imagica, I saw a lot of big swings and the water park. We went to the waterpark and I enjoyed the mini sea and the waves. They were like real sea waves. After that, I went on five to seven water swings. All rides were full of adventure, people were crazy and so excited and there was a huge queue in all rides. In every ride, you need a minimum of two hours waiting and that was the worst because summer vacations are going on. But luckily, I chose an express ticket so I did not have to queue and I went directly on every ride,” she says.

She adds, “I had heard lots of things about Imagica and I have seen lots of print ads but I never got the chance to go Imagica. For the last three years, I did not go anywhere and I was totally exhausted. So that was another why I loved going to Imagica. Also, the biggest attraction for me was the number of water rides there! Perfect getaway for the Mumbai heat.”

The actress says that it’s very important to take a breather like this as continuous shoots can get exhausting. “Every actor requires a break because during the shoot we don't get time to go anywhere. Sometimes we have to shoot day and night or like for 14-15 hours at a stretch so it becomes extremely hectic. It is very important for every actor to have these fun or masti moments. I went on eight to 10 rides and my favourite ride was the swirl whirl. Apart from that, I also went to the Snow World and two other attractions - Seven wonders and 3D Illusion,” she says.
