Actor Chiranjeevi tests Covid-19 positive, quarantined

Hyderabad/IBNS: Indian actor Chiranjeevi has tested positive for Novel Coronavirus or Covid-19.

Chiranjeevi has quarantined himself at his home.

The actor underwent the Covid-19 test as a protocol before commencing shooting for a film.

He tweeted, "Took a test for COVID before resuming 'Acharya' shoot as a protocol and unfortunately tested positive. I am currently asymptomatic and quarantining myself at home.

"Request all those who met me in the last 5 few days to also undergo covid tests. Will update you on my recovery soon."
