Jewellery artisans across West Bengal were awarded to honour the art of jewellery making at “Swarna Shilpa Samman 2014†in Kolkata on Saturday (April 12, 2014). Hosted by Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers, the event witnessed the presence of Bengali film actors Soumitra Chattapadhyay and Rituparna Sengupta. It was followed by a Grand Musical Soiree to celebrate the spirit of oneness between India and Bangladesh-Epar Bangla Opar Bangla-with a Jugalbandi between the Indi-Pop queen Usha Uthup and veteran Bangladeshi Folk Singer Runa Laila.
