Mahasweta Devi breathed her last in Kolkata on Thursday after a prolonged illness. Eminent politicians like Firhad Hakim, Partha Chatterjee, Biman Bose and Suryakanta Mishra among others visited Kolkata's Rabindra Sadan where Mahasweta Devi's body was kept.
