Zomato delivery partner, two teenagers die after motorbike-car crash in Delhi

New Delhi/IBNS: A Zomato delivery partner and two teenagers died in a road accident when their motorbike and car crashed in northeast Delhi's Shakarpur area on Saturday night.

According to police, the two young women and five others from the same family were returning from Peeragarhi in west Delhi to their home in Karkardooma. While three people were sitting in the front of the car four were at the back.

When the car was passing through Laxmi Nagar, the Zomato delivery partner riding on the bike came in the way and the car's driver lost control.

Those stuck inside the overturned car were pulled out and rushed to a hospital where Jyoti, 17, and Bharti, 19, were declared dead.

Two others have suffered minor injuries.

Police said the Zomato delivery partner is yet to be identified.

According to local residents, the man was seriously injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

According to reports, as hospital authorities were trying to arrange fr a bed, the delivery partner died.

Police have registered a case and further investigation is on.
