Nay Pyi Taw, Nov 12 (IBNS): US President Barack Obama on Wednesday greeted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a dinner hosted for the leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and East Asia Summit (EAS) member countries.

Obama praised Modi and said he is 'man of action'.

MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin tweeted: "Prez Obama greets PM @narendramodi at Gala dinner - "You are a man of action!."

Modi had recently met Obama during his recent visit to the US.

During the sidelines of 12th India-ASEAN summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi
earlier in the day held a meeting with Nobel laureate and Myanmar's opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
