West Bengal: EC places Trinamool's Birbhum strongman Anubrata Mondal under surveillance
Kolkata, Apr 28 (IBNS): Election Commission has ordered that Trinamool's Birbhum boss Anubrata Mondal be kept under surveillance morning after receiving complaints from vote officials that he was threatening them, local media reports said.
Mondal had also been kept under surveillance during the 2016 Assembly polls.
In the latest order, the Election Commission has directed the administration to keep Mondal under watch till Tuesday morning.
During this period, Mondal will be videographed. The Election Commission wants to know where he goes and who he talks to during this time.
