West Bengal: 7-year-old dies, another injured as crude bomb blasts in East Burdwan

Kolkata/IBNS: A 7-year-old boy was killed and another was seriously injured as a crude bomb exploded at Rasikpur area in East Burdwan district of poll-bound West Bengal on Monday morning, reports said.

According to reports, two kids were playing in front of a local club (Rasikpur Yuva Welfare Society) at Subhaspalli Road in Burdwan town and when they tried to throw a ball-like crude bomb, it went off, leaving the duo seriously hurt.

Those kids were rushed to Burdwan Medical College and Hospital where one kid succumbed to his injuries and another is undergoing treatment in a serious condition. 

Local police have initiated probe into the case.
