West Bengal: 6 killed in Burdwan after having hooch, 1 held
Kolkata, Jan 3 (IBNS): At least six men were killed and 30 others fell ill after consuming toxic alcohol at Ramgopalpur area under Galsi Police Station limits in West Bengal's Burdwan district on Tuesday, reports said.
According to reports, several persons felt sick, after consuming hooch on Monday night, and six of them died on Tuesday morning.
At least 30 persons are being treated in Burdwan Medical College and Hospital in serous conditions, reports said.
After starting probe into the matter, police arrested a local alcohol seller.
