West Bengal: 5 TMC activists shot in Kharagpur

Kolkata, Jan 11 (IBNS): At least five Trinamool Congress (TMC) activists, including local TMC leader Srinu Naidu, were shot when few unidentified miscreants fired bullets indiscriminately at a Trinamool party office in Kharagpur town in West Bengal's West Medinipur district on Wednesday, reports said.

According to reports, 4-6 miscreants went to the party office by few motorcycles at around 3 pm. and after firing several round of bullets, they left the area.

However, sustaining bullet wounds, five TMC leader-activists have been admitted to nearby hospitals.

Police form Kharagpur Town Police Station have started probe into the case.
