VHP takes out Tiranga Yatras in Agra, Firozabad protesting Kasganj incidents

Agra, Jan 31 (IBNS) :  Close on the heels of the Kasganj communal clashes, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad  on Wednesday took out   ‘Tiranga Yatras’ in Agra and Ferozabad, very near the place where one person  was killed and several injured last week in an orgy of violence, media reports said.

The Yatras have been taken out from 40 blocks in protest against the Kasganj incident.

Heavy police deployment has been arranged in the city to tackle the law and order situation.

Earlier, VHP vice president (Braj Prant) Sunil Parashar had announced the programme :  ''More 'Tiranga Yatra' will be taken out in the Braj region over 20 districts in the Agra, Aligarh and Bareilly divisions in the days to come."

Clashes broke out in Kasganj  on the Republic Day after a group of bikers holding a 'Tiranga Yatra' were allegedly attacked by members of another community which resulted in the death of a young man.
