US tourist on first visit to India allegedly gang-raped in Dharamsala

Dharamsala, Sept 17 (IBNS) An American tourist has alleged that she has been gang-raped by two persons in Himachal Pradesh's Dharamsala.

According to reports, the incident took place early this week.

Two unidentified persons have been booked and a case of gang-rape has been registered.

The 46-year-old woman, reportedly on her first visit to India, has said in her complaint to the police that she was drugged and raped on Monday night, when she was on her way back to her hotel after dinner.

The woman had reportedly come from California a week ago.
