The US aircraft carrying the third batch of Indian immigrants landed in the north Indian city of Amritsar on Sunday.

112 Indians returned to India in this phase of deportation from the USA.

Of the 112 deportees, 44 are from Haryana, 33 from Gujarat, 31 from Punjab, two from Uttar Pradesh, and one each from Himachal and Uttarakhand, reported Hindustan Times.

The latest flight arrived in India just a day after a US military aircraft reached Amritsar with 117 immigrants.

The first US plane carrying 104 illegal Indian immigrants landed in Amritsar last week.

However, a massive row broke out after the Indians were sent back to the country in a captive state with handcuffs and chains.
